CoT News Issue I (Feb–Sept 2015)

One of the key steps needed to publicize the launch of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Hasanuddin (Unhas) and the achievements of its programs is the publication of the CoT-news communication newsletter. This publication is one of several tasks undertaken by the Engineering Promotion Division, one of the six divisions within the CoT unit. The inaugural issue of CoT-news opens with welcoming remarks from the Governor of South Sulawesi and the Rector of Unhas, followed by remarks from the C-BEST Project and the Director of CoT. Subsequent sections feature main news stories, important events, and a photo gallery—all covering activities that took place from February through September 2015.

We hope that CoT-news can serve as a two-way communication medium, so that future issues can include some space for opinion pieces and feedback, such as the voices of the academic community or our partners. We certainly also hope that the next edition of CoT-news—and all subsequent ones—will be published regularly and continuously.
