The Mining Student Association, Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University called PERMATA FT-UH is a department-based student organization under the Mining Engineering study program at Hasanuddin University. The forerunner of PERMATA FT-UH has been initiated since 2004 by the founding fathers with a history of struggle. With the change in the rules at the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University regarding major-based student organizations to study program/department-based student organizations, in 2016 PERMATA FT-UH officially became part of the Student Organization of the Faculty of Engineering Hasanuddin University (OKFT-UH) along with 13 other associations.
