Courtesy Visit by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Unhas to the Governor of South Sulawesi

The Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University (Unhas) will hold the culminating event of its 58th anniversary on September 22, 2018. A number of regional leaders are scheduled to attend the event. In connection with this, the Dean of the Unhas Faculty of Engineering, Muhammad Arsyad Thaha, along with the faculty’s leadership team, paid a courtesy visit and were received directly by South Sulawesi Governor Nurdin Abdullah in his office on Friday, September 21, 2018. This year’s anniversary, themed “Strengthening Technology Innovation,” will feature several activities. As a faculty that serves as a technology hub in Eastern Indonesia, Arsyad explained that the event will showcase a number of innovations, a fun walk, a one-day open campus, an inter-alumnus futsal competition, the distribution of qurban offerings, and a traditional food competition. It will also include workshops and seminars—both national and international.
