FTUH Dharma Wanita Association Holds a Ramadan Charity Event

In celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1444 H, the Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of FTUH organized a Ramadan 1444 H charity event titled “Ramadan Berbagi.” In her remarks, the Chairwoman of DWP FTUH, Mrs. Muralia Isran, stated that the “Ramadan Berbagi” event is one of DWP FTUH’s annual programs. “This year, the donations successfully collected by the DWP FTUH Executive Board and members were distributed in the form of basic food staples—such as rice, cooking oil, granulated sugar, etc.—to security personnel, cleaning staff, drivers, and temporary contract employees within the FT Unhas campus, as well as under the care of the DWP FTUH Foster Parent Movement (GOTA),” said Mrs. Muralia Isran.

During the “Ramadhan Berbagi” event, the Dean of FTUH, Prof. M. Isran Raml, along with other FTUH leaders, symbolically kicked off the distribution of basic food items to several representatives of the recipient groups. “We at the FTUH Dean’s Office greatly appreciate this Ramadan Sharing initiative by the DWP FTUH. This is very helpful in filling the gap in social support for support staff within the FTUH community who have not yet been reached by the FTUH Dean’s Office,” stated Prof. Isran.

The distribution of 175 packages of basic necessities to academic support staff within FTUH and children under the care of GOTA DWP FTUH took place in the DWP FTUH Secretariat Room on the 2nd floor of the CoT Building on the FTUH Campus on Wednesday morning, April 12, 2023.
