FTUH Workshop on Entering First Quarter Performance Data for Fiscal Year 2023
Held at the Exhibition Hall of the CoT Building on the FTUH Campus in Bontomarannu, Gowa, on Saturday, 2023, the Dean’s Office and Department Heads within FTUH conducted a workshop on entering data regarding progress toward performance targets for the first quarter of the 2023 academic year. The workshop was officially opened by the Dean of FTUH, Prof. M. Isran Ramli. The event was attended by all Department Heads and Department Secretaries, as well as the designated personnel responsible for entering performance data. Representing the FTUH Dean’s Office, all Associate Deans, the Chair and Secretary of GPMPR, the Chair and Secretary of PUSTEKNO-CoT, and the Managers and Chair of the FTUH Global Engagement Office (GEO) were present.
The workshop, moderated by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs & Student Affairs, Amil A. Ilham, Ph.D., featured the Director of Planning & Development at UNHAS, Dr. M. Yahya, who provided guidance on entering performance data into the UNHAS SIMKEU Portal. In his opening remarks, the Dean of FTUH, Prof. Isran, stated that the performance data entry process is a critical activity for assessing the achievement of performance targets by each department—and the Faculty of Engineering in particular—in relation to the Performance Contracts between the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and the UNHAS Rector, as well as between department heads and the Dean of FTUH. “We will regularly monitor the quarterly performance data entry for 2023 in two phases: Phase 1 involves entering departmental performance data into the FTUH Performance Achievement Database Portal, and Phase 2 involves entering performance data into the UNHAS SIMKEU Portal,” said Prof. Isran. Vice Dean for Academic Affairs I, Amil A. Ilham, Ph.D., added that the entry of performance data into the FTUH Performance Achievement Database Portal is based on performance achievement inputs supported by evidence of faculty and student performance. The Director of Planning & Development at UNHAS, Dr. M. Yahya, expressed his appreciation for this workshop. “FTUH has become a leading example at UNHAS in monitoring and evaluating the completion of the quarterly performance database for 2023. The FTUH Performance Achievement Database Portal is very helpful and complements the evidence of performance achievements that had previously not been covered by the UNHAS SIMKEU Portal,” concluded Dr. Yahya.
