Hasanuddin University’s Faculty of Engineering Holds an Engineering Open Day

As part of the Unhas Open Day series held previously, the Faculty of Engineering hosted the Unhas Engineering Open Day. The event took place on Saturday, March 9, 2024, in the Exhibition Hall of the CoT Building at the Hasanuddin University Faculty of Engineering.

The Engineering Open Day was organized to introduce the Faculty of Engineering and the fields of study within its departments. The series of events held during the Engineering Open Day included a Campus Orientation, Department Exhibits, Games, and a Campus Tour.

The event was attended by the Associate Dean for Academic and Student Affairs of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Amil Ahmad Ilham, S.T., M.IT., the Education Manager, Fitriyanti Mayasari, S.T., M.Eng., the Student Affairs Manager, Hamzah, S.T., M.Eng., and the Chair of the Department of Computer Engineering, Prof. Dr. Ir. Indrabayu, S.T., M.Eng., M.Bus.Sys., IPM, ASEAN Eng.

In his remarks, Dr. Amil expressed his hope that this event would inspire students to apply to the Faculty of Engineering—whether through the SNBP, SNBT, or the Independent and International admission tracks.

The event was attended by approximately 300 students from various schools in South Sulawesi who are interested in becoming part of the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University.
