Public Lecture The Role of Coastal Engineering Research in Disaster Mitigation Coastal

Gowa, 03/12/2015) Held at Lecture Theater (LT) 1 CSA building, JK Center, took place Visiting Lecture by Prof. Ir. Radianta Triatmadja, Ph.D. (Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering UGM) in front of lecturers and undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral students of Civil Engineering Department with the theme "The Role of Coastal Engineering Research in Disaster Mitigation Coastal". The substance delivered include tidal flooding, storm surge, giant sea wall in the Bay of Jakarta, the tsunami and evacuation nearly all studied with numerical modeling, methods and modeling characteristics tsunami runup to the Smooth Particle Hydrodinamics.
