Seminar Advokasi IABEE Badan Akreditasi Pendidikan Teknik Indonesia

(Gowa, 04/15/2015) IABEE Advocacy Seminar

(Indonesia Accreditation Board for Engineering Education) organized by the Directorate of Higher Education and Student Affairs and Implementation Accreditation Agency Independent Team Engineering Program (LAM-PS Technique) involving JABEE of Japan and ABET of America takes place in four major cities in Indonesia, Yogyakarta, Makassar, Jakarta and Palembang.

For the city of Makassar, the seminar was held at the Faculty of Hasanuddin University, Campus Gowa. The event was attended by the Dean, Head of Department and Head of Study Program Faculty of Engineering of eastern Indonesia as well as the speakers and members of APINDO and the Chamber of Commerce. This event was attended by speakers from the Higher Education, IABEE, JICA, ABET and also JABEE.

By following this seminar is expected to be effective implementation of the Higher Education Quality Assurance of Higher Education in accordance with UU No. 12 of 2012 (on Higher Education which states that accreditation as a public accountability by the Institute for Accreditation Self) and the Washington Accord.
