Students in the International Civil Engineering Program at the Faculty of Engineering, UNHAS, Participated in an International Exchange Program at UTM in Malaysia

Students in the International Class Program of the Civil Engineering Undergraduate Program at the UNHAS Faculty of Engineering participated in an international exposure program at the Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) campus in Skudai, Johor Bahru, Malaysia. This international exposure program took place from November 27, 2022, to December 1, 2022. Thirteen students from the Civil Engineering Undergraduate Program at the UNHAS Faculty of Engineering participated in this program, which was held at the UTM Faculty of Civil Engineering and facilitated by UTM’s Center for Innovative Planning and Development (CIPD).

During this International Exposure program, the UNHAS Faculty of Engineering civil engineering students participated in various academic activities at the UTM Faculty of Civil Engineering, including a campus orientation at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), a field study on public infrastructure development in the city of Johor Bahru, attending the UTM-UNHAS International Guest Lecture, a comparative study of the academic atmosphere at the UTM Civil Engineering Laboratory, participation in the UTM-UNHAS International Seminar, and attending classes at the Faculty of Civil Engineering, UTM. For this program, Dr.Eng. Bambang Bakri, Secretary of the Department of Civil Engineering at the UNHAS Faculty of Engineering, served as the coordinator for the International Exposure Program on behalf of UNHAS, while Hamzah, ST, MT, in his capacity as Student Affairs Manager of the UNHAS Faculty of Engineering, and Dr.Eng. Rita Irmawaty, Dr.Eng. Muralia Hustim & Prof. M. Isran Ramli served as accompanying lecturers/facilitators.
