The Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University Is Developing a Network of Collaboration with the Faculty of Engineering at Siliwangi University in Tasikmalaya.

The Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University and the Faculty of Engineering at Siliwangi University in Tasikmalaya established a partnership by signing a Memorandum of Agreement. The signing of the MoA took place on Friday, September 8, 2023, at Campus II of the Faculty of Engineering at Siliwangi University in Tasikmalaya, West Java.

This collaboration was established to fulfill the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, including assistance in launching the Professional Engineer Education Study Program; the establishment of Affirmative Action Classes in Civil Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Computer Engineering to facilitate continued doctoral studies at the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University; faculty and student exchanges; and collaboration on research and publications.

The signing was conducted by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ir. Muhammad Isran Ramli, S.T., M.T., IPM., AER., accompanied by the Associate Dean for Partnerships, Research and Innovation, Dr. Ir. Rustan Tarakka, S.T., M.T., IPM., AER., and the Associate Dean for Financial Planning, Resources, and Alumni, Dr. Eng. Ir. Muhammad Rusman, S.T., M.T., IPM, AER., as well as the Chair of the Professional Engineer Education Program, Dr.-Eng. Ir. Ilham Bakri, ST., MT., IPM, AER., and on behalf of Siliwangi University, the agreement was signed by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Siliwangi University, Prof. Dr. Eng. Aripin, IPU., accompanied by the Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs, Dr. Ir. Nurul Hiron, M.Eng., IPU., AER.
