To Strengthen Bonds and Foster Self-Reflection, the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University Holds an Eid al-Fitr 1445 H Halal Bi Halal Gathering.
In celebration of Eid al-Fitr 1445 H, the Hasanuddin University Faculty of Engineering held a Halal Bi Halal gathering with the academic community. The event took place on Thursday, April 18, 2024, in the Exhibition Hall of the CoT Building at the Faculty of Engineering in Gowa.
The event was officially opened by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ir. Muhammad Isran Ramli, S.T., M.T., IPM., AER., and was also attended by the Rector of Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Jamaluddin Jompa, M.Sc., who was accompanied by the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs and Student Affairs, Prof. drg. Muhammad Ruslin, M.Kes., Ph.D., Sp. BM(K); the Vice Rector for Partnerships, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Business, Prof. Dr. Eng. Adi Maulana, S.T., M.Phil.; the First Vice Chair for General Policy of the Board of Trustees, Prof. Dr. Ir. Muhammad Arsyad Thaha, M.T., as well as the Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture, Prof. Dr. Ir. Salangke, M.Sc., the Dean of the Faculty of Nursing, Prof. Dr. Ariyanti Saleh, S.Kp., M.Si., and the Secretary of the Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM) at Hasanuddin University, Prof. Ir. Suharman Hamzah, Ph.D. (Eng.), HSE. The event was attended by the entire academic community of the Faculty of Engineering.
In his remarks, Prof. Jeje expressed his hope that this event would serve as a moment of reflection for all of us, because in truth, to reach paradise, we must not only read the Quran and pray but also put Allah’s words into practice in our daily lives. Prof. Jeje also added that he hopes this Halal Bihalal gathering will help dispel any past tensions that may have driven us apart, allowing us to reconnect and come together again with pure hearts.
On this occasion, Prof. Isran, as dean of the Faculty of Engineering, also reported on the progress made by the Faculty of Engineering during the 2024 period, including developments in academic programs, faculty, and educational staff.
This event also featured the unveiling of the logo for the 64th Anniversary of the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University, ICCE (The 5th International Conference on Civil and Environmental Engineering), IC-REST (International Conference on Research in Engineering and Science Technology), ICOMAREST (International Conference on Marine Research and Technology), IC-EMMAM 2024 (International Conference on Energy and Manufacturing, Advanced Materials, and Mechatronics 2024), Maker’s Innovation Space, Labo Base Education, and the Program for the Improvement and Development of International Partnership Network Models.
