Unhas Faculty of Engineering Holds a Workshop on the Program to Enhance and Develop International Partnership Network Models
In preparation for the implementation of the 2023 Program for the Improvement and Development of International Partnership Network Models (P2MJKI), the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University held a workshop and launch event for the P2MJKI program. The event took place on Saturday, September 23, 2023, in Mahony Room 1 on the 2nd floor of the Claro Hotel in Makassar.
The event began at 11:00 a.m. with opening remarks by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr.Eng. Ir. Muhammad Isran Ramli, ST., M.Eng., IPM., AER. Prof. Isran expressed his hope that this program would enhance Hasanuddin University’s international networks, particularly within the Faculty of Engineering. The Rector of Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Ir. Jamaluddin Jompa, M.Sc., was present to provide guidance and officially launch the Program for the Improvement and Development of International Partnership Networking Models. In his remarks, the Rector congratulated and encouraged the participants who will carry out the P2MJKI program and expressed his hope that the Faculty of Engineering could serve as a model for other faculties in developing the P2MJKI program. Also in attendance were the Vice Rector for Planning, Development, and Finance, Prof. Subehan, S.Si., M.Pharm., Sc., Ph.D., Apt.; the Vice Rector for Human Resources, Alumni, and Information Systems, Prof. Dr. Farida Patittingi, S.H., M.Hum.; Vice Rector for Partnerships, Innovation, Entrepreneurship, and Business Prof. Dr. Eng. Adi Maulana, S.T., M.Phil., and University Secretary Prof. Ir. Sumbangan Baja, M.Phill., Ph.D.
Five topics were presented during this workshop. The first topic was “Socialization of the Strategy for Achieving World Class University (WCU) Status,” presented by Prof. Ir. Sumbangan Baja, M.Phil., Ph.D., followed by the second topic, “Development of International Partnership Networks to Support the Achievement of WCU and IKU,” presented by Prof. Dr. Eng. Adi Maulana, ST., M.Phil. The third session was led by Prof. Ir. Rohani Ambo Rappe, M.Sc., from the Center for Reputation Enhancement at Hasanuddin University, on “Academic Reputation and Employer Reputation,” followed by a presentation on behalf of Prof. Dr. Farida Patittingi, S.H., M.Hum., by Dr. Andi Muhammad Akhmar, S.S., M.Hum. , Director of Alumni Relations and Endowment Development at Unhas, presented on “Strategies for Improving Indicators of Hasanuddin University’s Employer Reputation by 2024,” and the final session on “Technical Briefing on the P2MJKI Program” was presented by the Associate Dean for Partnerships, Research, and Innovation, Dr. Ir. Rustan Tarakka, ST., M.T., IPM
