With 100 Graduates, the Faculty of Engineering Holds a Graduation Ceremony.
The Hasanuddin University Faculty of Engineering held a graduation ceremony for 100 graduates on Thursday, May 30, 2024, in the Exhibition Hall of the CoT Building in Gowa. A total of 100 graduates from the Bachelor’s, Master’s, and Doctoral programs were formally honored by the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ir. Muhammad Isran Ramli, S.T., M.T., IPM., ASEAN. Eng., accompanied by the respective Department Chairs.
In his remarks, Prof. Isran stated that this event was held to embody the values and performance of the leadership—including the faculty, departments, study programs, faculty members, and educational staff of the Faculty of Engineering—by ensuring that FTUH alumni are sent off with honor before they leave campus to serve the nation. Prof. Isran also urged the alumni to uphold the good reputation of their alma mater after leaving campus. This aligns with the remarks made by the Chair of IKATEK at Hasanuddin University, Ir. Sapri Pamulu, who noted that alumni serve as a reflection of their alma mater’s standing; therefore, they must always uphold its good reputation.
The graduation ceremony was also attended by the Chair of IKATEK at Hasanuddin University, Ir. Muhammad Sapri Andi Pamulu, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D., and the leadership of the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University, including the Vice Deans, the Academic Senate leadership, the Head of Pustekno, the Chair and Secretary of GPMPR, Managers, Department Secretaries, Heads of Study Programs/Professional Programs, IKA Chairs, the Head of the Administrative Division, Section Heads, and parents accompanying the graduates. The event also featured Rachmat Kaimuddin, Deputy for Infrastructure and Transportation Coordination at the Coordinating Ministry for Maritime Affairs and Innovation, as the keynote speaker.
