Three students of the Urban and Regional Planning (PWK) class 2018, again proved their existence in the scientific field. This is because, last Sunday, November 10, 2019, the student, on behalf of Reyhan Regisha, Dwi Rezki Fauziah, and Fathiyah Adelia, won first place in LKTIN, the first place in Poster, and the title of Best Presentation at the Indonesian Youth Festival (INOVASI 2019), which was held UKM of Science and Scientific Reasoning (KPI) Hasanuddin University (Unhas).

INOVASI itself is a routine agenda of UKM KPI Unhas. The series of activities consisted of a selection of scientific papers (KTI), which were presented on Friday (08/11). There was also a Scientific Poster Competition, which was exhibited at the same time as the KTI presentation.

This activity was followed by two categories: high school students and university students. By the students themselves, it was opened nationally for the submission of abstracts and full papers, which were then selected by eight universities from all over Indonesia (which passed the presentation stage and were required to make scientific posters). Thus, participants competed for two categories of winners: LKTI (plus Best Presentation) and Scientific Poster. And in its history, this is the first time it has been 'swept away' by Unhas students themselves.

The next winner in the LKTI category was taken by a team from Brawijaya University, and one from Unhas as well. Meanwhile, in the poster category, three teams from the host team won 1-3 compact winners.

These three PWK students took the topic of nomadic tourism, in its application and innovation at the Kapoposang Aquatic Tourism Park, in Pangkajene and Islands Districts. This is in accordance with the theme promoted by the committee, namely Strategy and Innovation of the Young Generation Through Optimizing Science and Technology to Welcome the 2045 Golden Indonesia. Where, in developing the tourism potential in Pangkep earlier, they use the latest technology and are loved by tourists to improve the living standards of the local community.

This is also a motivation, not only for PWK students, but also for all majors, to continue to practice expressing innovative ideas through scientific works and posters. It is hoped that these good results can be transmitted to other students, in departments, departments, to every faculty at Unhas. Because what is expected from students is not only a high GPA, but also their contribution to the country.
