Ahead of the 64th Anniversary Celebrations, the Hasanuddin University Faculty of Engineering Holds a Community Service Event

The Hasanuddin University Faculty of Engineering will soon celebrate its 64th anniversary. To mark this occasion, the Faculty of Engineering (FTUH) organized a community service event in collaboration with the Dharma Wanita Persatuan of the Faculty of Engineering, the South Sulawesi Family Welfare Empowerment Team, and the Hasanuddin University Faculty of Dentistry. This community service event took place on Tuesday, April 27, 2024, in the Exhibition Hall on the ground floor of the CoT Building in Gowa.

The event featured three activities: free dental checkups for students at Sandikka Elementary School, provided by dentists from the Hasanuddin University School of Dentistry; free circumcisions for local residents; and a blood drive. The event was officially opened by the Third Vice Chairwoman of the Dharma Wanita Persatuan of the Faculty of Engineering, Mrs. Syafriani Rustan Tarakka, accompanied by the Head of the Bontomarannu Community Health Center and members of the South Sulawesi TP PKK.

More than 100 participants took part in the event, including those attending the mass circumcision, free dental checkups, and blood drive. In her remarks, Mrs. Syafriani expressed her hope that this event would benefit the local community and everyone involved.
