Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University Swears In the Executive Board of the Faculty of Engineering Student Organization (OKFT) for the 2026 Term

The Hasanuddin University Faculty of Engineering held the inauguration ceremony for the executive boards of the Faculty of Engineering Student Organizations (OKFT) and Student Activity Units (UKM) for the 2026 term on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at Lecture Theater I, CSA Building, Unhas Faculty of Engineering, Gowa. The event, which began at 1:30 p.m. WITA, was attended by faculty leadership, student organization executives, as well as representatives from student associations and departmental student councils.

The executives who were inaugurated include the Chairpersons of the Faculty of Engineering Student Organizations and Student Activity Units, namely:

  • Hamzah Sapta Bintang (Mining Engineering ’22): Chairperson of SMFT-UH
  • Nur Rahmat Hidayat (Naval Systems Engineering ’2022): Chair of BPMFT-UH
  • Muhammad Rifqy Ridwan (Electrical Engineering ’2024): Chair of WELCOM09
  • Nur Misbah Muhiddin (Civil Engineering ’2023): Chair of Taekwondo 09
  • Aslam Muyassar (Electrical Engineering 2024): Chair of Engineering Football 09
  • Iqzan Fachreza (Civil Engineering 2023): Chair of Basketball 09

These chairs were officially installed by the Dean of the Unhas Faculty of Engineering, Prof. Dr. Eng. Ir. Muhammad Isran Ramli, S.T., M.T., IPM., AER.

In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering extended his congratulations to all the newly inaugurated executive board members. He emphasized that this inauguration is not merely a ceremonial event, but rather the beginning of a significant responsibility in carrying out the organization’s mandate.

“Student organizations are spaces for learning leadership, collaboration, and character building. I hope the executive board members can implement innovative and inclusive programs that have a positive impact on students and support the vision of the Faculty of Engineering,” he said.

Furthermore, the Dean also emphasized the importance of synergy between OKFT, UKM, BPM, and all student organizations within the Faculty of Engineering at Unhas to foster a harmonious, productive, and achievement-oriented organizational climate.

This inauguration serves as a strategic milestone to strengthen the role of student organizations as partners of the faculty in developing students’ interests, talents, and leadership capacities. With the newly formed executive boards in place, it is hoped that all organizations can actively contribute to supporting student programs and uphold the good name of the Hasanuddin University Faculty of Engineering at the regional, national, and international levels.
