Unhas Faculty of Engineering Holds an Information Session on the Master’s Scholarship in Metallurgical Engineering, a Collaboration Between Huayou and Northeastern University

The Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University held an information session on the Master’s Degree Scholarship Program in Metallurgical Engineering in collaboration with Huayou International Mining (Hong Kong) Limited. The event took place on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. WITA, in the Meeting Room on the 2nd floor of the CoT Building at Hasanuddin University.

The event was attended by the Associate Dean for Partnerships, the Manager of Student Affairs, and the Manager of Alumni Relations. More than 30 students and alumni from the departments of Mechanical Engineering, Mining Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering participated in the information session.

The information session featured Pietendar Revky Manduapessy, S.H., CHCS, as the speaker; he serves as the HR Academic Corporate Relations Manager at Huayou Indonesia. In his presentation, he provided comprehensive information regarding the Master’s scholarship program in Metallurgical Engineering at Northeastern University, including an overview of the program, application requirements, and specific criteria that prospective applicants must meet.

This scholarship program offers graduates of Metallurgical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Mining Engineering the opportunity to pursue a master’s degree abroad with competitive financial support, while also opening doors for the development of academic and professional competencies on a global scale.
