Focus Group Discussion on the Role of Occupational Safety and Health in the Fields of Technology and Engineering in Preparation for the New National Capital

A Focus Group Discussion (FGD) on “The Role of Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) in the Fields of Technology and Engineering in Preparation for the New National Capital (IKNB).” The event took place on Wednesday, November 27, 2019, in the CoT meeting room on the 3rd floor of the CoT Building, Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University.

The Unhas FGD also featured speakers including the Dean of the Unhas Faculty of Engineering, who is also the Chair of the East Indonesia Forum of Engineering Deans (FDTI), Prof. Dr. Ir. Arsyad Thaha; the Dean of the Uniba Faculty of Engineering and Technology, who also serves as Secretary-General of the Indonesian Forum of Engineering Deans (FDTI), Dr. Ir. Isradi Zainal, MT, MH, MM, DESS, IPU, ASEAN Eng; and a member of the Unhas Faculty of Engineering’s Occupational Safety and Health Committee (PKK3), Dr. Muhammad Syahid. ST, MT; Giawan Lussa, SH, M.Hum, from the South Sulawesi Provincial Government’s Department of Manpower and Transmigration; and the moderator, Dr. Ir. Ilyas Renreng, MT, Head of the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Research Center at the Hasanuddin University Faculty of Engineering.

Also in attendance were the Dean of the UNM Faculty of Engineering, the Dean of the UMI Faculty of Engineering, the Dean of the UMI Faculty of Industrial Engineering (FTI), the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Unibos, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at UPRI, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at Unismuh Makassar, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at UKI Paulus Makassar, and the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at UIM; the Vice Deans of the Faculty of Engineering at Unhas; the Chairs and Secretaries of the Departments within the Faculty of Engineering at Unhas; as well as the Chair, Secretary, and members of the Occupational Safety and Health (K3) Research Center at the Faculty of Engineering, Unhas.
