The Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University Hosted a Visit from the Faculty of Engineering at Jember University.

The Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University once again hosted a benchmarking visit. This time, the Faculty of Engineering welcomed a delegation from the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Jember. The visit took place on Tuesday, July 23, 2024, in the conference room on the 3rd floor of the CoT Building at the Faculty of Engineering in Gowa.

The purpose of this visit was to conduct benchmarking and initiate future collaboration. The visiting delegation was welcomed directly by the Associate Dean for Partnerships, Research, and Innovation, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rustan Tarakka, ST., MT., IPM., ASEAN.Eng., along with managers, department chairs, and faculty members.

Representing the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Jember were the Dean, Dr. Ir. Triwahyu Hardianto, S.T., M.T.; the Vice Dean for Finance and General Affairs, Dr. Ir. Dewi Junita Koesoemawati, S.T., M.T.; and a delegation of faculty members.

In his remarks, the Dean of the Faculty of Engineering at the University of Jember expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome. He also noted that the purpose of this benchmarking visit was to learn more about the systems in place at a university with PTN BH status, as the University of Jember is currently preparing for its own transition to become a PTN BH institution.
