Unhas’s Faculty of Engineering Holds a Workshop on KJI and KBGI 2026, Featuring Speakers from the Jakarta State Polytechnic
Gowa, April 15, 2026 — The Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University once again demonstrated its commitment to improving academic quality and student competencies by hosting the 2026 Indonesian Bridge Contest (KJI) and Indonesian Building Contest (KBGI) Workshop. The event took place on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, at the Exhibition Hall of the CoT Building, Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University.
The workshop featured two experienced speakers from the Jakarta State Polytechnic: Dr. Anis Rosyidah, S.ST., S.Pd., M.T., and Amalia, S.ST., S.Pd., M.T., who shared their knowledge and experience regarding preparation and strategies for the KJI and KBGI competitions.
This event aimed to provide training to students, particularly the teams set to participate in these national competitions. The material covered included the design of bridge structures and building structures, competition strategies, as well as technical tips for preparing proposals and executing construction.
The workshop took place from 8:00 a.m. WITA until completion and was attended by students from the Hasanuddin University Faculty of Engineering who are enthusiastic about developing their skills in the fields of civil and structural engineering.
The event was coordinated by the leadership of the Faculty of Engineering, with full support from the academic staff. Through this workshop, it is hoped that students will be better prepared to compete and achieve success at the national-level KJI and KBGI competitions.
This event is also part of the Hasanuddin University Faculty of Engineering’s efforts to produce outstanding, competitive graduates who are ready to face challenges in the professional world.
