The Dharma Wanita Association of the Unhas Faculty of Engineering Holds a Ramadan Charity Event by Distributing Food Packages

The Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) of the Hasanuddin University Faculty of Engineering once again held its “Amaliah Ramadan” event as an expression of care and generosity toward others during the holy month of Ramadan. The event, themed “Ramadan of Sharing”, involved the distribution of food packages to various groups of staff and members of the community within the Faculty of Engineering.

A total of 274 food packages were prepared and will be distributed to a number of recipients, including security guards, cleaning service staff, interns, temporary employees, non-civil servant temporary staff, non-civil servant permanent staff, civil servants, GOTA members, kindergarten teachers, and children’s homes.

The Chairwoman of the Unhas Faculty of Engineering DWP, Mrs. Muralia Isran Ramli, stated that this activity is an expression of gratitude as well as social concern from the extended Faculty of Engineering family toward those who have contributed to supporting activities on campus.

The total funds raised from donors as of March 8, 2026 amounted to Rp41,050,000. These funds will be used to provide food packages that will be distributed to the beneficiaries.

The food distribution is scheduled to take place on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, from 9:00 AM to 12:30 PM WITA, at the Dharma Wanita Persatuan Room, Faculty of Engineering, CoT Building, 2nd Floor.

Through this event, the Dharma Wanita Persatuan of the Unhas Faculty of Engineering hopes that the spirit of sharing and social compassion during the month of Ramadan will continue to be upheld and provide benefits to those in need. This event also serves as an opportunity to strengthen the values of togetherness and solidarity within the Hasanuddin University Faculty of Engineering community.
