The Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University Welcomes 24 Exchange Students from the Merdeka Belajar Program.

The Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University welcomed 24 exchange students participating in the Merdeka Belajar program. The event took place on Monday, February 19, 2024, in the Exhibition Hall of the Faculty of Engineering at Hasanuddin University.

The exchange students were welcomed directly by the Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Academic Affairs, Dr. Amil Ahmad Ilham, S.T., M.IT., accompanied by the Associate Dean for Partnerships, Research, and Innovation, Prof. Dr. Ir. Rustan Tarakka, ST., M.T., IPM., ASEAN. Eng., the Manager of Education, Dr. Fitriyanti Mayasari S.T., M.T., and the Manager of Student Affairs, Hamzah, S.T., M.T., as well as the department chairs.

In his remarks, the Associate Dean for Student Affairs and Academic Affairs, Dr. Amil Ahmad Ilham, S.T., M.IT., welcomed the participants of the 4th batch of the Merdeka Belajar Student Exchange Program. He expressed his hope that all participants would be able to successfully complete their coursework. Additionally, Dr. Amil encouraged the participants to gain as much experience as possible in the cities of Makassar and Gowa to broaden their knowledge.

These 24 students, hailing from all over Indonesia, are participants in the fourth batch of the “Merdeka Belajar Kampus Merdeka” Student Exchange Program. They will attend classes for one semester at the Faculty of Engineering, Hasanuddin University, and will return home at the end of the semester.
